We seek to identify and incubate ideas that have the potential to become sustainable business enterprises. Our goal is to provide clarity of structure to a start-up by formulating their business plans and streamlining business development process. In addition, we mentor start-ups, provide the resources of developing their prototypes and set up their financial projections. The culmination of our efforts will be to successfully provide seed funding for a high-growth start-up, and for the start-up to eventually provide ROI as well as generate value to society through it's key product/service offering. The essential purpose of BC Foundation is to test many ideas at once and turn the best of them into companies. In turn, we aim to attract the human and financial capital necessary to bring successful start-ups to market.
In addition to mentoring and incubatoring student start-ups, we aim to support Social Enterprises at the University of Illinois through providing help with writing a business plan and even through monetary donations from our Social Enterprise Fund.
