Roger Jin, Managing Director
Roger Jin is a student at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. In the past he has worked as a Summer Analyst at Credit Suisse, within the global private equity group. As well, Roger also interned as a Business Analyst for Accenture, working to conduct operational, strategic and financial restructuring for Fortune 200 corporation following a multi-billion dollar merger. Finally, Roger was a Project Manager at Illinois Business Consulting.

Raghav Chadha
Raghav is a Mechanical Engineering major at the University of Illinois. Raghav has extensive professional experience, ranging from employment with Whirlpool to ArcelorMittal to recently working as a Business Development intern at Underwriters Laboratories. Raghav was formerly a Senior Manager at Illinois Business Consulting, and now works full time at Underwriters Laboratories.

Shu Zhang

Shu is now a PhD candidate in Mechanical Engineering at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. He has previously earned master degrees in Math and Electrical Engineering. He has numerous project experiences in collaboration with varieties of professional organizations including EPRI and Department of Energy, etc. He has interned previously as intellectual support for Alstom Power Inc. and is now working with the HDF Group on Earth Science projects for NASA. Shu is also a consultant for Illinois Business Consulting where he finished a project to provide market research and competitive analysis for a biotech company.


John Busch
John is currently a Junior at the University of Illinois pursuing a bachelor's degree in Math and Computer Science. He has done multiple internships with State Farm and an internship with a small finance start up in Chicago.  He currently runs his own business that provides web consulting and solutions for clients that include State Farm and the National Service-Learning Partnership.  He has started various web start ups from a product that helps used car dealerships create a website to showcase their inventory & create an online marketplace for comedians to market themselves and find new clients.

 

Jimit Patel
Jimit is a MBA candidate at the University of Illinois. Before that, Jimit graduated with an engineering degree from Nirma University. During that period, Jimit worked with a Technology-Entrepreneurship incubator to implement campus-wide wireless capability. Upon graduation, Jimit worked as a CRM consultant for three years, wherein his team increased the revenue of the client by 20% using CRM/ERP packages. In the process, Jimit led an 8 member team for the completion of a product life cycle, from inception to delivery. Jimit is also a consultant in Illinois Business Consulting, having previously worked on a project to provide strategic inputs for the expansion of the client's vertical integration.

 

John Aderohunmu

John is a Junior majoring in International Business and Marketing at the University of Illinois. John is currently a group leader for an organization called International Impact, having led volunteer trips to the Dominican Republic and Guatemala. John was also a project member for the “Build African Schools” organization in Kenya.  John’s professional experience includes being a University Residential Advisor, Business 101 teaching assistant, and John has previous experience at Carle Foundation Hospital as a marketing and hospital administration intern.

 

Sreeram Kannan

Sreeram is a doctoral candidate in the department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. Sreeram graduated from the Indian Institute of Science (IISc), Bangalore in 2008 with a Masters in Telecommunications Engineering, and holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree from College of Engineering, Guindy, Anna University, 2006 . From 2003-06, he worked with a team of fellow students at Anna University for designing a low-cost microsatellite, Anusat, which was successfully launched by the Indian Space Research Organization recently. His year long project with Intel on designing faster processor buses won the first prize in Intel India students research contest in 2006. As a part of his masters thesis sponsored by Motorola, he worked on developing cooperative communication strategies for increasing coverage in wireless networks. He won the S.V.C. Aiya medal for the best master-of-engineering student in the department, and received commendation of the senate of IISc. Sreeram is excited about applying high tech ideas to create solutions that can improve quality of lives, especially at the bottom of the pyramid.

 

Amie Liu
Amie Liu is currently a sophomore, majoring in both Finance and Accounting at the University of Illinois. Amie is the treasurer in her chapter of the professional business fratenity Phi Chi Theta and has previously served as the scholarship committee chair and as well as the pledge class president. Professionally, she has worked at Waddell and Reed as a financial analyst intern.

 

Michelle Oboarekpe

Michelle Oboarekpe graduated from the University of Texas at Arlington with a Bachelors of Science (Honors) in Accounting. Prior to graduating, she interned at Ernst & Young, LLP in Dallas, TX as a tax intern preparing and presenting FAS 109 calculations for international and domestic clients as well as securing tax credits for clients based on tax incentives provided by the federal government and several states . Currently, Michelle is pursuing a Masters of Science in Finance at the University of Illinois. Michelle joined Illinois Business Consulting in the Fall 2009 where she worked on a market development engagement for a client wanting to launch a new product. Michelle’s core competencies include financial modeling expertise as well as analytical and technical skills stemmed from a background in finance and accounting.
